The Chernomorskoe can not be called the center of attractions of the Crimea, but several interesting places can be visited here. • Local History Museum and lapidarium

  

  The Local History Museum-Reserve "Kalos Limen" and lapidarium in the Chernomorskoe is the main regional museum. • Settlement "Kalos Limen"

  

  This is the main and most famous historical and archaeological site in the Chernomorskoe region, and indeed in the northwestern part of the peninsula. These are the ruins of an ancient Greek city, founded approximately from IV BC.E. during its heyday, the city was a fortress with an area of about 4 hectares with a very favorable geographical and economic position, and therefore was constantly raided. It existed until the First Century AD, when it was invaded by the nomadic tribes of the Sarmatians, the inhabitants of the northern steppes and completely destroyed. You can pay for the entrance, and then walk around the territory along the paths and inspect the ruins yourself. You can walk or drive here, there is enough parking space. If you come from other resorts of the area by bus to the bus station, you will have to walk 2 kilometers.

• Museum of wooden sculptures

  

  The Museum of wooden sculptures or the museum-exhibition "Forest sculpture" in Chernomorskoye is a private collection of original products from parts of trees, roots and stumps. There are whimsical figures of fairy-tale characters, masks, vases, pens and pencils, and even furniture. Some of them are real works of art with their own idea. All exhibits can be viewed and touched, and what you like, even buy. Prices start from 100 rubles for the simplest products, and reach tens of thousands for complex sculptures. • Central pedestrian alley

  

  in the Chernomorskoe, unfortunately, there is no normal embankment, and therefore the main place for walking and the center of tourist life is the pedestrian zone in the center of the resort, stretching along Sportivnaya street perpendicular to the Central Beach. On the alley itself, at the height of the season, there are children's attractions, pedal and electric car rentals, there is a cafe and canteen, fast food, souvenirs and excursions are sold. Nearby is an amusement park with a ferris wheel, karting and exotic Park. In the exotic Park, incendiary and fun performances like a dolphinarium are held daily. • Settlement "Panskoye"

  

  The northwestern coast of Crimea is rich in the ruins of ancient settlements and mounds dating back several centuries BC. Most of them were investigated by Soviet archaeologists and subsequently preserved, and "Panskoye" is just one of such preserved and covered with Earth. Objectively speaking, you will not see anything particularly exciting here, but if you have a lot of free time and have become completely bored, you can drive here or even walk from the center of Mezhvodny on foot.   🚶 How to get there: the settlement "Panskoe" is located 7 kilometers from the center of Mezhvodnoye and 12 kilometers from the Chernomorskoe (settlement "Panskoye" on the map). It is best to go by private transport, taxi or at least hitchhiking, since buses from the Chernomorskoe to Mezhvodnoye past the settlement go very rarely: 3-4 times a day according to the schedule.

  When you reach the point indicated on the map, you will have to go out and continue walking right across the field in search of ruins on foot. There are quite a lot of ruins and mounds here. They are located on an area of several hectares and at a considerable distance from each other. For a walk, it is better to wear comfortable sports shoes and sweatpants, because you will have to walk on high grass. And be prepared for a myriad of mosquitoes that literally stick from head to toe.

• Therapeutic mud of Lake Dzharylgach

  

  Near the village of Mezhvodny, 17 kilometers from the Chernomorskoe, there is one of the famous lakes in the Crimea, at the bottom of which there is a therapeutic cosmetic mud. There is no infrastructure for taking mud baths here, you will have to do everything yourself: get the dirt from the bottom, smear it, and wash it off in a few minutes. Usually they wait for the dirt to dry and turn into a crust, after which it is washed off. A layer of black therapeutic mud lies under a layer of silt, and to get to it, you have to dig a little, for which smart tourists use just a cut plastic bottle. Just do not leave plastic behind on the shore, but take it to the village and throw it in the trash.

  🚶 How to get there: Lake Dzharylgach is a 15-minute walk from the center of Mezhvodnoye Resort and 17 kilometers from the Chernomorskoe (Dzharylgach Lake on the map). It is best to get here by taxi or private transport, but if there is no such possibility, and there is a desire to smear mud, then you can roll there during the day on buses. Buses run only 3-4 times a day. Therefore, you will have to carefully plan the trip according to the schedule. Buses depart from the Chernomorsky bus station on Agafonov Street, 96, and come to Mezhvodnoye at the stop on Pervomayskaya Street, 2a. from there to the lake you will have to walk 15-20 minutes.
