Chernomorskoe is a settlement on the northwestern coast of Crimea, 140 kilometers from Simferopol and the airport, and 70 kilometers from Yevpatoria (Chernomorskoye on the map of Crimea). Chernomorskoye is the largest and most developed beach resort on the northwestern coast of Crimea and north of Yevpatoria. There is everything for a full-fledged beach holiday on long sandy beaches: well-developed urban and tourist infrastructure, entertainment for tourists, low prices for accommodation and tourist services compared to the more popular resorts of the peninsula.

However, if you ask a typical vacationer on the popular beaches of the southern coast of Crimea, whether he knows the resort of the Black Sea, then most likely you will hear a negative answer. The beaches of the Chernomorskoye lie on the shore of a cozy and deep narrow bay, which well protects the shores in the center of the resort from waves and strong winds. It is in the center of the Bay and the village that the main city sandy beach is located. Its length is only 300 meters. But together with the neighboring beaches "children" and "Kolkhoz", which are not inferior to the city except for the development of infrastructure, the total length of the coastline in the center is almost one kilometer. This is quite enough, and even at the peak of the holiday season, the coast here is not crowded with tourists.

On the city beach there are canopies and changing rooms, sun beds are rented for 150-200 rubles/day, shower and toilet. There is a cafe and bar, fast food is sold. There are few water activities here: only children's water slides and trampolines, and rental of catamarans and SUP-surfboards.

In addition to the beaches in the center, there are several short and conditionally suitable for swimming areas of the shore within the village further to the Northeast (to the right along the shore) behind the Archaeological Park Kalos Limen. But these beaches are poorly cleaned of algae, and the coast there is rocky.

But it is impossible not to mention the main and very big minus of the beaches in the Chernomorskoe. Unfortunately, periodically, with a change in weather and wind direction, a lot of algae washes ashore, which swim at the very edge of the water and accumulate on the shore. They are not always cleaned in a timely manner, and therefore they begin to rot and exude an unpleasant smell. This is especially felt at the beginning of the season (in June), or during the velvet season (September-October).

Resort infrastructure

Urban and tourist infrastructure in the Chernomorskoe is very well developed, there is everything you need for a comfortable and serene holiday. Along the pedestrian alley in Komsomolsk park, excursions to all corners of the Crimea are sold, a tourist transfer to the airport and to the railway station is offered, there is a bicycle rental.

There are also many cafes and restaurants, kebabs and inexpensive family canteens. In general, no problems with eating, there will not arise, and unpretentious points for the sale of local fast food like chebureks, Pies, Tea and coffee can be found anywhere in the center. If you prefer local products from the stalls, then you should go shopping at a large local market, it is located between Pervomaiskaya and Yuzhnaya streets. This is not only a grocery, but also a commodity market, where you can buy clothes, electronics, and anything else if necessary.

You can pay for purchases from supermarkets and stores with bank cards of any bank, there are no restrictions. In the markets, for excursions and other tourist services, you can only pay in cash. You can withdraw cash at ATMs, there are quite a lot of them in the village, but you will have to pay a commission of at least 1% for withdrawal.

Hotels and accommodation in Chernomorskoye, where to stay

There are quite a lot of accommodation options in the Chernomorskoe, because this is the most developed resort and the largest settlement on the northwestern coast north of Yevpatoria. Basically, the options for tourist accommodation here are private guest houses and apartments, but there are also several hotels with services and service. As for the choice of the location of the guest house or hotel, then in the Chernomorskoe there is a fairly simple rule for this issue: the closer to the tourist center of the resort and the City Beach – the better. If possible, choose accommodation within walking distance from this zone, and then you will have easy access to the main "party" tourist place of the resort, and to the beach, and to all the necessary urban infrastructure, including the bus station.

Weather and seasons in the Chernomorskoe, when is it better to go

Since the Chernomorskoye is a beach resort, you should go on vacation here only in summer, late spring or early autumn, but in winter there will be absolutely nothing to do.

The beginning of the tourist season starts at the end of May, but in fact it is better to come to rest in the high season after mid-June and through August inclusive. The fact is that until mid-June, the weather can present very unpleasant surprises in the form of rains and cold snaps. In addition, the infrastructure of the resort is not yet ready: many tourist establishments do not work, the beaches are not cleaned. For example, in early June 2021, there were continuous rains, and the temperature did not rise above 15 degrees Celsius. In some years, there is good weather, but it's like luck.

If in the high tourist season it was not possible to get on vacation in the Chernomorskoe, then you can come here in the velvet season in September and even in the first days of October. How to get to Chernomorskoe

The resort and village of Chernomorskoye is located on the northwestern coast of Crimea, 75 kilometers from Yevpatoria and 150 kilometers from Simferopol and the airport (Chernomorskoye on the map of Crimea).
