How to get from the airport to Khosta

The airport is located a few kilometers 13 kilometers from the center of Khosta (airport on the map), you can get to the hotel in 15-30 minutes or a little longer if there are traffic jams, which, unfortunately, are not uncommon here.   Direct (non-stop) from the airport to Khosta can be reached only on the only route-No. 105. But do not confuse it with No. 105C, which, although it goes through the host, does not stop there.

By train to Khosta

Khosta has a railway station (Station on the map), where all long-distance trains from Russian regions and cities to Sochi and Adler stop. Also, it stops all suburban trains in the Krasnodar Territory and neighboring regions.

Check the schedule and buy tickets for long-distance trains better on the official website of Russian Railways or at the city's ticket offices. When buying through the site, it is better to first register in the Russian Railways bonus system in order to save points for the next trips.

At the station there are ticket offices for the sale of tickets for trains and trains, there is a terminal for automatic ticket purchase, a waiting area.

By bus to Khost

Near the railway station of Khosta there is a platform with buses of the local bus station, but as such there is no bus station building here. The functions of the waiting room are performed by the railway station building.

Suburban and city buses arrive and depart here, but there are no long-distance buses. If you want to get to Khosta from a city outside of Greater Sochi, you will have to drive to Adler or the center of Sochi, and from there go to the resort by local transport.

By car to Khost

From Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities in the Western (European) part of the Russian Federation, Khosta can be reached by the M4-don toll Federal Highway or by free roads. The most difficult section of the road will have to be overcome after Krasnodar. In order to drive these 305 kilometers, at the height of the tourist season, it can take up to 8 hours due to constant traffic jams. The situation is especially difficult on the road from Dzhubga to Tuapse and from Tuapse to the center of Sochi, so if possible, plan to go at night or early in the morning. If you see at the entrance to Krasnodar on the Navigator that the Dzhubga-Tuapse road is in a dead traffic jam, then you can go around it through the Shahumyansky pass. This road is 75 kilometers longer, and through the pass you have to drive 7 kilometers on a terribly dusty and uncomfortable Macadam road.

Refueling in the resorts of Sochi is best at branded network gas stations Lukoil, Rosneft and Gazpromneft, there are many of them. The price of gasoline, as usual in the South, is higher by 5-10% than in other regions of the European part of the Russian Federation.

Transport

If we talk directly about the resort area of Khosta, then you do not need transport to move around it, you can get around everything on foot.
