Lake Kara-Kel - this is the only place in Dombay and Teberda where you can swim and relax on the beach. The beach here, of course, can not be compared with the sea. But it is quite possible to sunbathe, have a picnic, swim or ride on the lake on a pedal catamaran in between hikes along mountain routes.
The lake is quite small, less than 200 meters in length. The beach here is Sandy and pebbly, but the sand is not yellow, but gray-black. There are places to relax in the form of gazebos for rent for 500 rubles for 3 hours, but you can sit on your mats for free. Catamarans for rent are offered for 200-300 rubles per 30 minutes.

🚶 How to get there
the lake and the beach are in the center Teberdy near the main highway (Beach on the map). You can walk from any place in Teberda, and from Dombaya have to go 22 kilometers. For private transport there are places for free parking.
