Jamaghat narzans - these are natural sources of cold mineral water in the Jamagat Gorge, which stretches along the Jemagat River. To get to them, a walking and car tourist route is organized along Teberdinsky nature reserve, the end point of which is narzan. But the route is interesting not only for them,but also for the mountain river itself and the magnificent views of the mountains. It is especially interesting to go on the route on foot, but you will have to walk 8 kilometers from the center of Teberda, and from Dombay you will first have to get to the beginning of the route.

The sources themselves are two, are a dozen meters from each other. They are known as "male" and "female", and you will immediately understand which of them is called by sight. From them you can drink or collect cool mineral water with a weak mineralizer. Its temperature all year round is kept at +6℃. But you should not take a lot of water with you, as it loses its properties in just a few hours. Even further upstream of the Goralykol River, 2 kilometers away, there are two more Springs.

In addition to the springs themselves, on this route you can visit the pass and the mountain lake Epchig (Erchik). To do this, narzan will have to go almost 8 kilometers and climb 1150 meters in height. This is a very large difference in altitude and distance, so we recommend going to the pass and the lake only to physically prepared experienced tourists, and early in the morning, otherwise there is a chance not to have time to return in the daytime.
