Drinking pump room in "Izvestia" - this is not that an attraction or entertainment, but a worthy place to visit, especially if you care about your health on vacation. Here you can drink absolutely free of charge or take with you the therapeutic and dining mineral water from the source "Plastunsky", which is located in the Khostinsky district. Water is extracted from the well from a depth of 550 meters and delivered to the pump room, while retaining all its medicinal properties. Information about the medicinal properties of water is posted on the stand inside the pump room. Since it is a medical canteen, there are no contraindications to use, and you can drink it in any quantities, of course, within reasonable limits.
You can come to the pump room with your own container, for which a glass or even a plastic bottle is suitable. You can fill it yourself and drink fresh mineral water. It makes little sense to take water with you, because it is not stored for a long time and loses its properties. If there is no own container, then you can buy a disposable cup in the pump room for 5 rubles.

From the beaches or hotels of the resort town it is easy to get here on foot, and from other areas of Adler and Sochi you can take the train to the station "Izvestia", or by any bus in the direction of the center of Sochi-Khosta-Adler to the bus stop "Sanatorium Izvestia".
