Olginsky waterfalls is a series of several small equipped waterfalls, which ends with a large waterfall about 10 meters high. Sometimes you can read on the Internet how this place is even called a tourist route, but in our opinion this is an exaggeration. The scale here does not reach the present route, because the length of the equipped trail here is only 200 meters. It's nice to come here to sit near the foot of the waterfall or eat in a cafe at the beginning of the route. You can even swim, however, the water is very cold. There is also a cage with two bears at the entrance, which, of course, is quite sad, there is very little room for them there.
But we definitely will not recommend visiting the Olginsky waterfalls. Everything would be fine and the place is beautiful, but the entrance fee is clearly overstated – 200 rubles, and they also charge 100 rubles for parking. For comparison, the entrance to Chernigovka gorge at the same time is 250 rubles, parking is free, and the scale and beauty are much more impressive. Everything is very well equipped in Chernigovka Gorge, the route is long and it will fly a whole hour, or even more, completely unnoticed during the walk. We spent no more than 10 minutes at the Olginsky waterfalls, and left there with the feeling that we were simply deceived. For comparison, there are also free small and large Baryal waterfalls nearby, and the magnificent Shakuransky waterfall, and all this can be seen for free. Of course, it's up to you to decide, but our opinion is that the price of a visit should be at least two times less.

🚶 How to get there
The Olginsky waterfalls are located on the Sukhumi Military Road, 35 kilometers from Sukhum (waterfalls on the map). You can get here only with excursions or by your own transport, public transport does not go here. The road is asphalt, there are pits on it in places, but in general you can get there without problems by any car. Near the waterfalls from the road there is a turn to the parking lot and to the cafe, from where the walk along the equipped path begins. They charge 100 rubles for this conditional parking, but you can leave the car at the turn for free, and walk 50 meters to the entrance.
