Often these sources are also called Gudauta or New Athos, although in fact they are located in the village of Primorskoye somewhere in the middle between the two towns. They are also known by their official name – the Health Complex "Tskuara". Like otherhot springs in Abkhazia, these combine the healing effect of underground springs saturated with minerals and hydrogen sulfide with therapeutic mud. Also there is mineral healing water, massage is offered, there is a cafe, there is a mini-hotel. If you stay in a hotel on site, you can use the springs and mud for free.
You can swim in the springs in one of the two tiny pools, or in the showers. After taking baths, it is suggested to smear blue clay, which has more cosmetic effect than therapeutic.
Unfortunately, this place is useful and pleasant, but in general it is rather neglected. There is a feeling that no one invests money in its development and repair, only collect an entrance fee, decently overstated for such a service. Everything is dirty and rusty, even the rest benches are wooden and very old. In addition, parking is paid, which at such a high price for admission, of course, is not justified. In general, everything remained the same as in the best Soviet times.
If you are willing to put up with such inconveniences and low quality of service, then these hot springs will be quite a pleasant and useful place. But, of course, you should not expect from them any obvious therapeutic effect in one or two receptions, rather it is just a pleasant pastime. It is believed that in order to get a really therapeutic effect, you need to undergo a course of at least 10-15 procedures, and even strengthen them with therapeutic massage, which is done here.

sources are located in the village of Primorskoye (aka Tskuara) 15 kilometers from the center Gudauta and 30 kilometers from Sukhum (source on map. You can get directly to the springs only by private transport or taxi. If this is not possible, then you can take the bus to the stop in the village of Primorskoe, and then a little on foot. The bus to this stop from the bus station of New Athos goes to 08:10, 10:40, 14:40, it costs 50 rubles. You can also take any passing buses through New Athos or Gudauta to the stop near the traffic police post on the main road (there are many of them), and then walk 2 kilometers (30 minutes). Also from Gudauta and New Athos, excursions to the springs from 500 rubles are offered.
