Description and is it worth a visit
Tiger Cave and Tiger Waterfall (Tiger Cave Waterfall or Hang Cop Waterfall) are surrounded by a mixed forest and will appeal to those who love untouched and wild places. This is a little-known and rarely visited place among tourists, accessible only to independent travelers by rented transport on a bad dirt road. At the time of our visit, we were the only visitors here, and officially the passage to the waterfall was generally closed, cables with forbidding inscriptions were stretched.
The Tiger Waterfall is considered one of the highest and largest waterfalls in the vicinity of Dalat. Its height is 50 meters. However, the approach to the waterfall is complicated by the fact that there are no equipped paths and stairs to go down to the bottom and see it in all its glory. You'll have to climb slippery rocks, and you can't do it without special equipment. So be careful.
More precisely, there is a path to the foot of the waterfall, but because of the danger it was closed, and perhaps it has already collapsed. Unfortunately, we could not verify this, because everything is blocked there. However, you can visit the waterfall, just the passage is on the other side and on top. But we will tell you about this below in the how to get there section.
In the upper part of the waterfall there is a small through cave, rather even a grotto. Apparently, they tried to ennoble it, they installed figures of a tigress with a tiger cub in it, hence the name – Tiger Cave. Perhaps this place will "come to life" again over time and tourists will come here, but for now it's a wild attraction.

🚶 How to get there
Tiger Cave Waterfall is located 14 km east of Dalat in the forest (waterfall on the map). You can only get there on your own by rented transport.
You need to use the navigator on the main asphalt road to the village of Tuishon (Tay Son), but you do not need to go to the center of the village, drive as the navigator leads to the point that is indicated on our map. In the village, the asphalt ends, and the waterfall will have to drive 3 kilometers along a dirt, rocky and clay road. During the rains, it will be difficult and dangerous to drive along it, since wet clay behaves like ice, and the passage runs like a serpentine along the cliffs. In general, it is impossible to call the road dangerous, but still you need to drive very carefully, and we definitely do not recommend it in the rain. But it is possible that a more suitable road can be made here, because when we visited the waterfall at the end of 2024, we saw large equipment along the way.
When you get to the waterfall point, you may find the same thing as us: a fence and warnings that access to the waterfall is dangerous and prohibited. But if you drive further, then immediately after the waterfall to the right of the road you will see a bridge over the river that forms the waterfall. If you drive over the bridge, you will find yourself at the top of the waterfall and see the very cave of the tiger. From here there are several droshky down to the middle part of the waterfall, and it is already dangerous to go down to its base. There is a picnic area, a "people's" barbecue is installed and there is a barbecue grill, apparently carefully left by local tourists who come here for picnics.
