Description and is it worth a visit
Nguyen Khong Monastery (Nguyen Khong Pagoda, Ni Vien Nguyen Khong) is a little–known place among tourists, but an interesting convent, which is a place of practice for nuns. Dharma readings and meditations are held here, nuns are engaged in charity work and provide all kinds of assistance to those in need. It is no coincidence that there is a shelter for children who find themselves in a difficult life situation, there is even a kindergarten for the youngest.
The temple is relatively young, was built in the period from 2006 to 2010 and continues to be completed. According to the idea of the abbess of the monastery, a nursing home will soon appear.
The territory of the monastery is well-groomed and drowned in flowers. In front of the temple, in the center of a small artificial pond on an artificial island, there is a large beautiful statue of Buddha.
It's not worth going here specifically to see the temple, but if you drive through these places, you can drop by and see this beautiful place. The monastery can be visited on the way to Prenn waterfall.
