Description and is it worth a visit
Lam Dong Museum Dalat - perhaps one of the best local history museums in Vietnam. As in other cities, the entrance to this museum costs real dongs, but, despite this, its exposition is very rich and well-groomed. If time permits, be sure to visit this place. The museum is housed in a villa popularly called the palace of Nguyen Huu Hao.
In the museum you can see ancient pottery, costumes, musical instruments and other antiquities of local nationalities, preserved from ancient times. There is also an exhibition telling about the history of the city of Dalat. There are nine exhibition halls on topics: archaeological finds confiscated by the police; historical periodization; traditional crafts; archaeological finds discovered in Daylang; archaeological finds discovered in Daidong and Daylao; agricultural and hunting accessories; nature, geography, people; finds of the war years, the period of resistance to the American colonists and the French; cultural life and traditional festivals; achievements of socialist society in the field of construction.
In addition to the exhibition in the museum building itself, a cultural village has been built on its territory. It does not represent anything special, but sometimes the most real traditional games take place here, of course with the participation of the local population.
A visit should be allocated at least 1 hour.
