Description and is it worth a visit

Main market Da Lat market

Main Market Da Lat Market or Cho Da Lat is a local colorful attraction that is worth visiting at least once. Part of the market is covered, the other is open–air in numerous alleys around the building. This market is more local than tourist, which is even good. Here you can buy fresh exotic fruits, the famous Vietnamese coffee, green or artichoke tea and much more, and if you wish, you will find souvenirs. Be sure to bargain. There are clothes on the top floor of the building, including warm jackets, shoes, accessories, suitcases, backpacks. Everything is mediocre, you will not find branded items.

It is at the market and next to it that the whole tourist "get-together" in Dalat takes place in the late afternoon, the tourist night market starts working on the street of DjườNg NguyễN thị Minh Khai. A brisk trade in souvenirs and goodies for tourists opens, local cafes unfold right on the asphalt in a matter of minutes, hawkers with street fast food, shakes and desserts appear. In general, the place is interesting and worthy for several evening walks.

Only here you can find a large selection of exotic fruits. From our own experience, let's say that in this market for the first time we were lucky enough to find and taste some rare fruits that we did not meet anywhere else in Vietnam. For example, Citera Apple (Kok), Pepino (Melon pear), Tamarillo (Tomato tree), Noni. Of course, the probability of their presence depends on seasonality and luck, but unlike coastal resort towns, it's real to see them here. Just look for them not in the central aisle, where prices can be overestimated by 2-3 times for tourists, but further in the alleys, where locals do more shopping. For example, we found Pepino for 50,000 VND per kilogram, although the center asked for 120,000 VND for him. So you should either look for low prices, or you need to be able to bargain.

Норм рынок. Цены адекватные если торговатся. На верхнем этаже взяли куртку за копейки.

Шикарно провели время! Накупили кучу сувениров и попробовали артишоковый чай. Советую идти утром меньше толкучки.
