A taxi from Nha Trang to Dalat can be ordered through the Grab and (possibly) Maxim application, but such a trip will be more expensive than at the agreed price. It is better to negotiate with private drivers on the street near the lake or the night market, ask at the hotel reception or at street travel agents, there is such a ready-made service, including minivans for a large company. You can also order a car online at kiwitaxi, intui.travel or Gettransfer.com, the prices there are quite competitive.

By bus from Nha Trang to Dalat

To begin with, briefly, the most important thing:

• How long to drive from Nha Trang to Dalat: 4-6 hours.
• How much does a ticket cost: from 170,000 VND a large sleeping bus, minivans from 200,000.
• Do I need to buy in advance: this is not necessary, you can buy tickets at the bus station right before departure for the next flight.
• Whether buses run at night: no.
• What is the schedule: buses run only during the day from 07:00 to 19:00 every 30-60 minutes.
• Where to buy tickets, find out the schedule: it is possible online on the websites Futabus or 12go.asia (but the Russian card is not accepted), at the bus station and in travel agencies. The current schedule is below at the end of the article.

Buses from Dalat to Nha Trang are inexpensive, convenient, sleeping buses run along the route. However, there are no night buses. There are two bus options:

• Minivans and Limousines

  You can buy minivan tickets at travel agencies and hotels in Nha Trang. They are sent from their offices in the center or picked up from a travel agency or hotel. It is not necessary to buy them in advance or online, but it is advisable at least on the previous day to be picked up from the hotel in the morning. In Dalat, they also arrive at their offices in the tourist area or take them to hotels.

  But be careful, check the prices before buying. The fact is that there are a lot of Russian travel agencies working in Nha Trang, some of which dishonestly speculate on prices, i.e. they can sell you the same ticket two or three times more expensive than in a neighboring non-Russian-speaking agency.

  There are ordinary minivans and so-called "limousines". For understanding, an ordinary minivan, this one is like our Gazelle minibuses with lots of seats. A Limousine is a lot of space and reclining seats almost to a reclining position, there is even a multimedia system and massage chairs. If finances allow, it is better to buy tickets for a limousine.   Another option is large sleeping buses. A large bus company Futa Bus carries this route, we make almost all trips to the south of Vietnam with them, but there are other companies. All large buses depart from Nha Trang to Dalat from the new southern bus station, which is located very far from the center, it can only be reached by taxi. But if you buy a ticket at least a day in advance, then the ticket price includes a transfer from the hotel or from the office in the center to the bus station, you just need to request this service when buying a ticket, I don't offer it by default.

  Important! Previously, the main bus station in Nha Trang was located near the city center, but now it has been moved to a new location far out of town (Nha Trang South Bus Station on the map), all old bus stations are closed. Now you can't get from/to the new bus station by city buses, only by taxi from 160,000 dongs for auto taxi (6.08 USD) or 52,000 motorcycle taxi (1.98 USD). Therefore, it is better to buy tickets with a transfer or immediately to the tourist area.

  In Dalat, all large intercity buses arrive at the bus station a couple of kilometers from the center (Dalat bus station on the map). From it to the hotel in Dalat, you can take a taxi from 30,000 dong or even walk to some hotels. But Futa Bus again offers a transfer to the center in the ticket price, you only need to request this when buying.
