Bao Dai Palace 3 (Dinh III, Bao Dai Palace 3). This is the most visited of the three palaces of Bao Dai, which are located in Dalat. It served as the summer residence of the last Vietnamese emperor of the Nguyen dynasty, Bao Dai, and his family between 1938 and 1954. One of the places that we recommend to visit without fail. You can drive or walk on your own and during an individual sightseeing tour of Dalat, which is offered by private guides (Easy Rider), is also included in sightseeing tours from Nha Trang, Mui Ne.

In appearance, the building looks modest and does not resemble a palace at all, as it is often called. It consists of two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room, offices for negotiations and reception of guests, the office of King Bao Dai, a library, leisure rooms and a spacious dining room. The second floor is completely reserved for the living quarters and personal quarters of the princes, princesses, Queen Nam Phuong, as well as the king's chambers themselves. Spacious rooms, furnished with good furniture and accessorized - everything is simple and without frills preserved in its original form. Family and official photos are presented.

Do not forget to go up to the terrace with a panoramic view of the surrounding space while walking around the house. In general, it will take at least 1 hour to inspect the interior, not counting the well-groomed green landscape park around the palace with flower beds and a fountain. For an additional fee, you can try on outfits and take pictures.
