Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam Temple in Colombo (Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam, also Theevu Kovil, also Sri Kailanathasara Swamy Devasthanam, also Captain Garden Temple) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the gods Shiva and Ganesha. It is considered the largest and oldest among such temples Colombo. The colorful towers and interior of the temple are impressive. During the Harvest Festival - Thai Pongal (January) becomes a place of accumulation of a large number of people and Bulls – direct objects of worship. For placing your shoes on special racks, temple servants will expect a tip from you.
