A new observation deck has appeared in Kislovodsk National Park on Sosnovaya Mountain, towering almost 100 meters above the center of Kislovodsk. There is a good walking route along the steps with several places to rest along the way, and at the very top there is an equipped concrete observation deck with a roof. There are also plans to erect a monument to the great Russian poet Sergei Yesenin, but in the meantime, the site of the monument is marked with a memorial stone. The observation deck offers views of the southern part of the city, and the center and the tourist area with pedestrian boulevard Kurortny are not visible from here. If you want to see the tourist area from a bird's-eye view, then we advise you to visit the Ferris wheel in the old amusement park.
About a hundred meters from the observation deck, right here on the top, there is a stylish and cozy cafe "Tea House" with a magnificent outdoor recreation area, and in good weather you can even sunbathe here.

🚶 How to get there
The observation deck on Sosnovaya Mountain is located on the territory of Kislovodsk National Park within walking distance from the resort center (Observation deck on Mount Sosnovaya on the map). You can only get here on foot, and you will have to climb the stairs to a height of almost 100 meters. But do not worry: the path is made in the form of a staircase with steps, equipped with railings and places to relax. And by the way, in addition to the new staircase, you can get here along several more gentle routes, including terrencourt No. 2B.
