What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
Kurortny Pedestrian Boulevard is the main walking area in the city of Kislovodsk and the center of the city's tourist life. There are always a lot of vacationers here and something always happens, and in the evenings street performers and musicians appear on the street, and local artists put their works up for sale. This, of course, is far from the Arbat in scale, but nevertheless the best place for evening walks while relaxing in Kislovodsk.
The length of the boulevard is 500 meters, and along this length there are shops and boutiques, cafes and restaurants, there are points for selling excursions, there are the most "fashionable" institutions for treatment and cosmetic procedures at the resort, several sanatoriums. There are also several interesting sights, monuments and entertainment: a colonnade, a wax museum, a children's amusement park, an exhibition of exotic animals, a singing fountain, drinking galleries, a museum and a visitor center of the Kislovodsk National Park, bicycle and gyro scooter rental. And on Sundays there is a fair where handmade handicrafts, souvenirs and even real works of art are sold.
