Cable car in Kislovodsk located in Kislovodsk National Park, its lower station is located next to Valley of roses. Then from above you can go back down by cable car, but it is more interesting to make the way down the trails and paths through the National Park on foot. The simplest and most picturesque way goes through the gazebo of the seven winds and the observation deck of the red sun, but the more interesting one goes along the Kosygin trail past the waterfall and grottoes. Another route from here is to first climb Mount small or Big saddle, and from there descend along trails through meadows.
But we can not fail to mention the disadvantages of this cable car. First of all, this is a high price for such a short Rise, and even in one direction. The booths are old, and there are only two of them, and as a result, in the season they are packed to capacity with those who want to ride, and not everyone can get a view from the window, and you have to stand in the middle behind those who entered the booth faster than the rest. Well, a very unpleasant impression is left by frequent suspensions of work for prevention without any warnings.

open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00, Last rise at 17:30. However, quite often, without any warnings, it stops for prevention, most often on Mondays. 🚶 How to get there
the Lower Station of the cable car is located deep in Kislovodsk National Park near the valley of roses (lower ropeway station on the map. It can be reached on foot through the park, and it is a fairly simple and pleasant walk, but you have to overcome more than 2 kilometers and 130 meters in height from the colonnade.
If you do not want to walk, then at the colonnade you can take a taxi-an electric car based on the Kalina car, which will take you to the nearest point to the station for 75 rubles per person. These cars are constantly "on duty" at the colonnade, and are sent to fill with tourists. But they are not going to the station, they still have to walk a little. If you are several people, it is cheaper to order a taxi ride through the Yandex. Taxi or Uber applications, then pay up to 100 rubles for the entire car.
There are Budget ways to get to the station for 18 rubles. You can take the bus number 27 and get to the final stop of Chakovsky street, from where the cable car is at hand. But this bus does not come from the Colonnade, but passes along Vokzalnaya Street. You can get on it at the stop at the intersection of Vokzalnaya Street and Kurortny pedestrian boulevard (see Bus Route # 27 on the map).
Another option is to take the bus number 8 near the colonnade and get to the terminal "Sanatorium Zarya". From there you will have to walk 1300 meters through the park (see Bus Route #8 on the map).
