Ethnographic Museum "Gornitsa" was created in the Center of Extracurricular work "Search". It is small, consists of two halls: ethnographic and local history. Both are dedicated to the Middle Volga region: Samara, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg and Nizhny Novgorod regions. In the ethnographic section, you can see recreated peasant dwellings of the late nineteenth century, tools, weaving and embroidery, weapons of the peoples of the Volga region. The paleontological hall presents fossils of prehistoric organisms, household items of the pre-revolutionary period, a collection of ancient and modern metal and paper money of domestic and foreign production. In total, the museum has more than 1000 exhibits, all of them are authentic, most of them from the late XIX - first half of the XX century.
