Villa Dream in Simeiz

Like villa Xenia, Villa Dream in Simeiz is an object of cultural heritage of Russia. The building is made in an unusual Moorish-style architecture, and resembles a mosque with a minaret. The Russian architect N.P. Krasnov, who built many palaces and mansions on the Black Sea coast, was involved in the project.

The construction of the Dream lasted 4 years, from 1913 to 1917, the owners were the wealthy Moscow Kerkov family. However, upon completion of the construction, they never moved into the house, and later, with the advent of Soviet power, they immigrated from Russia altogether. The building was nationalized and equipped as a sanatorium, first under the name "Crimea", then attached to the sanatorium "Red Poppy".

Currently, Villa Dream is in disrepair, it can only be viewed from the outside. Work on its reconstruction is not carried out. According to unofficial sources, it was sold into private hands.
