Saki and Yevpatoria are separated by 25 kilometers along the highway, but often connected by bus. You can get from one city to another both by suburban buses and intercity buses, it will take 20-40 minutes on the road.
All buses from Evpatoria depart from the bus station, which is quite far from the beaches and the tourist area (Yevpatoria bus station on the map), so you will first have to get to it by city buses or trams, which will cost from 14 rubles. Almost any route from the tourist area of Evpatoria goes to the bus station (see for more information about City transport in Evpatoria).
From the bus station of Yevpatoria, flights depart according to the schedule approximately every 10-15 minutes from 6 am to 22 pm, the cost is 30-50 rubles. There is no need to adjust to the schedule, you can simply come to the station and buy a ticket for the nearest flight. In the high tourist season, buses are crowded, and even worse, sometimes go half-empty, because the box office simply does not have time to sell tickets. In this case, you will either have to wait for the next flight, or solve the problem in a different way, as is often done in the Crimea: negotiate directly with bus drivers at the landing site.
In Saki, all commuter buses arrive at the bus station in the city center (Saki bus station on the map). But if you need to get not to the center, but to the beaches, then it is better not to go to the center, but to get out earlier on the outskirts of the city at the coastal stop. Further from here to the beaches you can walk a couple of kilometers, or take the city bus number 3 or 4, which, by the way, go very rarely.
If you take an intercity bus instead of a suburban one, depending on its route, they can call either at the bus station in Saki, or drop you off near it on the Yevpatoria Highway (Saki turn). You can also get off at the coastal stop, but for this you need to ask the driver, since officially intercity buses do not stop here.
If you need to quickly and comfortably get from Yevpatoria or other cities to Saki (See also, How to get to Saki), then it is best to take a taxi. Taxi drivers who are on duty at the bus station in Yevpatoria, carry only at inflated prices, so it is better to order a taxi by phone, or book a tourist transfer from the door of the hotel through the search form:
