How to get to Gurzuf, Crimea

Gurzuf is located 12 kilometers from Yalta and 80 kilometers from Simferopol airport (Gurzuf on the map (). There is no railway or airport near Gurzuf, so you can only get here by bus, by plane through Simferopol airport, or by train on a single train+bus ticket. More about all the ways to get further:

By plane

You can get to Gurzuf by plane only through Simferopol airport, where flights are operated from Moscow, St. Petersburg and the regions of Russia. see more about Simferopol airport. If there are no direct flights, convenient connecting flights with a transfer in Moscow are offered, and they are even cheaper than direct flights. But when buying flights with a transfer, pay attention to the change of airports in Moscow (it is better, of course, to fly without changing the airport).

How to get from Simferopol airport to Gurzuf

• By bus

  From the airport there are no direct bus flights to Gurzuf, but you can get there:

  • On all buses to the side Yalta and Sevastopol, on the trolleybus number 55. They do not go directly to Gurzuf, but they can be taken to the turn on the highway, from where you can go down to the village on foot (20-30 minutes), or wait for suburban buses No. 106 or No. 31B. Travel costs from 110 rubles, buses and trolleybuses depart in the daytime at least every hour, the journey is 2 hours (the trolleybus is almost 3 hours). Tickets at the ticket office of the airport bus station should be asked before the "turn to Gurzuf".
  • With a transfer in Simferopol to Bus Station-2 "Kurortnaya" (near railway station). To do this, from the airport on any city bus (except No. 100) or trolleybus you need to get to the bus station-2 "Kurortnaya" for 13-15 rubles and 20-30 minutes. From there, directly to Gurzuf, many buses depart in the daytime with a frequency of about every half hour, on the way one and a half to two hours, prices from 110 rubles.

  Attention! Some buses do not call in Gurzuf, but drop off passengers on the highway at the turn to the village. Check the bus route before buying tickets.

• By taxi

  This is the only mode of transport that will take you directly to Gurzuf without transfers, and of course the fastest. The cost of the trip is from 1600 rubles, an hour and a half on the way. You can find a taxi when leaving the airport at the counter, you can also order a transfer from the airport to Gurzuf through the search form, and then the taxi driver will be waiting for you on arrival.

To Gurzuf by train

There is no railway in Gurzuf, but from the regions of the Russian Federation you can get here inexpensively by train with a minimum of difficulties thanks to the "single ticket" of Russian Railways train+bus. Such tickets are not sold directly to Gurzuf, but you can buy a ticket to Yalta, and from there directly from the bus station to get to Gurzuf by suburban bus number 106 or 31B.

To Gurzuf by buses and trolleybuses from the cities of Crimea

Gurzuf is a small village, and not so many flights arrive directly at its bus station. Basically, these are buses from Simferopol from the bus station-2 Kurortnaya, which is located next to the railway station of Simferopol. They are sent every half hour, on the way one and a half to two hours, prices from 110 rubles. On the same buses you can get to Gurzuf from Alushta bus station for 30 rubles. All these buses arrive at Gurzuf bus station, which is quite far from the tourist area in Upper Gurzuf (bus station on the map), and you still have to walk 15-20 minutes or take a taxi from it.

Gurzuf is also connected by frequent bus service to the Yalta bus station, from where two suburban routes No. 106 and No. 104(31B) depart every half hour:

• Route 106 departs every half hour; costs 25 rubles; goes through a turn on the highway and ends up at the top of Gurzuf near the hospital (final 106 on the map. Not very convenient if you need to get closer to the beaches, because you have to walk another 15-20 minutes down.
• Route No. 104 (31B) departs at intervals of half an hour-an hour; cost 20 rubles; also goes past the turn, then through the Artek camps and ends up in the very center near the temple at the stop "Cypress" (final 31B on the map. This route is more convenient if you need to get closer to tourist areas or to the beach.

If you do not find it difficult to walk 20-30 minutes downhill to the village, then you can get to the turn to Gurzuf on many other buses (intercity, suburban No. 110) and trolleybuses (№41, 52, 53, 55), connecting Yalta with Alushta and Simferopol. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Gurzuf turnoff. If you do not want to walk from the turn, you can go down to the village by bus number 106 or 31B, they go about every half hour.
