There are few attractions in the village of Gurzuf itself, only two museums, a park, the rocks of Adalara, the remains of the Bolgatura fortress and the Gorzuvita fortress. All of them can be viewed during rest in Gurzuf independently without excursions and using transport, you can get there on foot. In addition, there is a museum of cosmonautics named after him on the territory of the Artek camp. Gagarin, and the museum of military history, but they are only accessible to children vacationing in the camp, just from the street there is no way to get there. Also on the territory of the camp there is an architectural landmark - the beautiful Suuk-Su Palace (in which the cosmonautics museum is located), but it is also impossible to see it, unless through the fence of the camp.
By commuter bus No. 106 or 31B, you can get to Yalta (drive 30 minutes), and get acquainted with its sights and entertainment. And with transfers in Yalta, you will have access to almost all the attractions in the area of greater Yalta.
If these interesting places are not enough for you, you can easily purchase excursions to the farthest corners of the Crimea. They are sold here at every step right on the street, especially a lot on the embankment. Almost all sellers of excursions offer the same thing according to the same schedule, the prices are also the same, so you can purchase excursions and not be afraid that you will overpay. .And here is a list of Gurzuf attractions that you can visit yourself:
Chekhov House Museum
Only real fans of the writer should specially go to this museum from other cities of the Crimea, but if you are resting in Gurzuf, then this place is definitely worth a visit. This small house with a plot and a bay was bought by the writer in 1900 for 3000 rubles! as a place to work, since the writer was not allowed to work fully in the house in Yalta by frequent guests. Here, the whole atmosphere and atmosphere were conducive to work, which is why the writer loved this place so much.
The house-museum consists of a small house of three rooms, in one of which the working environment is recreated. It should be said that the situation in the house is very simple, do not expect anything special here. Among the exhibits are mainly photographs and reproductions with a view of Gurzuf and the surrounding area. But no less interesting than the house itself is a small cozy garden with cacti, bamboo and cypress, and the picturesque bay itself. It is for the sake of the bay that tourists often come here, using this place as a beach. Yes, it is quite possible to swim in the bay on the territory of the museum, because this beach, called "Chekhov" is considered the cleanest in Gurzuf, the water here is very clear. Sunbathing and relaxing on the beach is not very convenient, because the coast is rocky, but if you really want to do it, you can.
🕐 Working hours: the museum is open only in high season (from May 1 to September 30) from 10:00 to 18:00, Monday and Tuesday are closed.
💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: visiting the museum – 100 rubles, visiting only the garden (memorial courtyard) and the bay – 50 rubles.

Pushkin Museum
The museum building is the oldest European building on the Southern coast of Crimea. It was built in 1808-1811 by Duke Armand Du Plessis de Richelieu. In 1820, a young A.S. Pushkin spent several weeks here, who simply fell in love with the then Gurzuf. According to some versions, the poet's famous Lukomorye was located on the shores of the Gurzuf Bay. But the author got here not by his own will, but as a result of exile for anti-government poems.
The exposition is located in 6 halls and tells about the Crimean period of the poet's life. The lifetime editions of A.S.Pushkin, everyday objects of the Pushkin era and the Crimean way of life of the early 19th century are presented. In June 2007, the memorial cabinet of the outstanding Pushkin scholar B.V.Tomashevsky was created, on whose initiative this museum was created.

Mountain and the Ayu-dag trail (Bear Mountain)
It is said that the mountain got its name from the fact that it looks like a bear bent down to drink water from the sea, although there are other versions of the origin of this name. This is one of the most famous mountains on the south coast. Immediately on the other side of the mountain, Parthenite begins and the territory of Bolshaya Yalta ends.
Today it is a state reserve where you can meet foxes, badgers, stone martens, hedgehogs, hares, squirrels, rodents, bats, and many species of birds. The flora includes 577 plant species, 44 of which are listed in the Red Book. There are also several ancient ruins here: the memorial complex of St. St. John of Gotha (VIII century), the ancient monastery of Saints Constantine and Helena (XIV-XV centuries). Excursions with ascent to the top (height – 570 meters) are organized here, during which the guides will tell you in detail and interestingly about everything. But you can climb the mountain on your own, though you should do it only in good weather and with good physical condition.
🕐 Working hours: it is better to visit the mountain in the daytime, it is dangerous at night.
💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: free.
🚶 How to get there: the mountain is quite far from the center of Gurzuf (about four kilometers, mountain on the map), and the beginning of the ascent is even further away. It is best to get to the top with a guide as part of an excursion, but you can do the journey yourself. The ascent time is about three hours, the ascent is quite steep and difficult. Trails lead both from Gurzuva and from Parthenite. In the Parthenite the trail begins behind the sanatorium "Crimea", and it is better to go to the ascent through it (if you have a pass), or you will have to go around a lot. From Gurzuf, the path to the top is much steeper and more difficult, it begins near the Osman-Kazak tract from Gaidar Street (the beginning of the trail on the map).
Adalara Rocks
Two steep cliffs of Adalara (White Rocks) are located in the water area of the Gurzuf Stones beach 200 meters from the shore. It is believed that they were previously connected to the land by an isthmus, but later it sank under water, turning them into two islands. Once ships were moored to them, which is why this place is now popular with divers, who to this day manage to find ancient artifacts on the bottom around the rocks. And at the beginning of the last century there was a restaurant "Venice", where vacationers were brought from the shore by ships. But over time, the restaurant was abandoned and completely destroyed. There was even a plan to build a cable car to the islands from the Genevez-Kaya cliff, for which a tunnel was even cut in the latter, but then the idea was abandoned.
Today, the Adalars are interesting for tourists primarily as a natural attraction. They can be reached by water and viewed up close. But it is dangerous to land on the islands, the rocks are too steep. There are no beaches on them. Usually tourists just swim there by boat or catamaran, inspect the rocks from all sides, and return back.
🕐 Working hours: around the clock.
💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: free.
🚶 How to get there: The Adalars are located 200 meters from the shore near the Gurzuf Stones beach (Adalars on the map). You can get to and circumnavigate the islands by water catamaran (you can rent it on the beach), by boat with an excursion, or swim by yourself (we do not recommend).
Bolgatura Fortress and Mountain
Bolgatura (Bolgatur) is actually difficult to call a mountain, rather it is just a hill. Ancient sources speak of a settlement that existed on the mountain, and in the 6th century a Byzantine fortress was erected here, the remains of which can be seen today. The mountain also has a later and sad history: during the Russian-Turkish War of 1768-1774, a Turkish landing party staged a mass execution site on the mountain. Then more than 1,500 local residents were thrown from the slopes of Bolgatura.
Today, this place is a little-known and rarely visited tourist attraction, perhaps primarily because it is not equipped with paths for easy ascent. To climb up, you will have to climb a steep slope with overgrown trails, and the beginning of the climb is difficult to find, since it is located between residential buildings and is almost not marked in any way. Nevertheless, the place is interesting and worthy of a visit, besides there is a beautiful view of Gurzuf from above.
🕐 Working hours: around the clock.
💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: free.
🚶 How to get there: Bolgatura is located in the center of the village (on the map), and it is easy to get to it on foot. One of the ascents starts from Vinogradnaya Street, but is not marked in any way. The climb is not long, but quite steep.
