Foros Park is one of the most beautiful and well-groomed parks in Crimea, people even come here from other resorts of the peninsula just to walk around it. It was founded in 1834 on an area of 70 hectares. The park is equipped with walking paths, benches for recreation, sculptural compositions, gazebos, ponds with fish, planted many exotic plants for the middle latitudes of Russia, very beautiful flowers.
For tourists who rest in Foros, this is the main walking area. You can walk here for hours, and what's nice is that it's cooler here than in the sun outside the park. Walking along the path through the entire park, you can use the signs to get to the beach.
Next to the building of the sanatorium "Foros" is the estate of the Russian philanthropist A.G. Kuznetsov, built in 1889. It is impossible to get into it, but it is worthwhile to inspect the architectural monument at least from the outside. There is a mass grave in the park.
Do not be surprised that in some parts the park looks somewhat dilapidated and abandoned. This is the legacy of its merciless exploitation in the Ukrainian period, but after 2014 it has become much better, landscaping works are carried out constantly.

🚶 How to get there
the entrance to the park is from Cosmonauts Street, the passage through the checkpoint of the sanatorium "Foros" (Foros Park on the map). From anywhere in the village you can easily get here on foot. If you want to visit the park from other cities or districts of Yalta, then you need to get to the Foros bus station, and from it to the entrance to the park a few meters. If you come here by private transport, you can park your car right in front of the entrance in the free parking lot, but there is very little space there. If everything is busy, you can easily find parking spaces in other parts of Foros within walking distance from the entrance.
