How to get from Krasnodar airport to Primorsko-Akhtarsk

A taxi from the airport to Primorsko-Akhtarsk when ordering through applications or at the airport counter will cost from 4000 rubles for the whole car. If a taxi or transfer is too expensive for you, then you can take buses, but you will have to change trains and spend almost the whole day moving. First, from the airport you need to take the city bus number 7 or taxi to the Krasnodar-2 bus station in the city center, which will take at least an hour. By train to Primorsko-Akhtarsk

Primorsko-Akhtarsk has a railway station (railway station on the map), but currently there are only cargo flights to it, and there is no information about the resumption of passenger traffic. Therefore, by train you will have to get here with transfers by bus or taxi.

The nearest passenger stations are in Timashevsk (80 kilometers) and Krasnodar (150 kilometers). In most cases, it is more convenient to go through Timashevsk, but not from all regions there are trains.

  Railway Station Timashevsk-1 in the center of Timashevsk on the Station Square, 1 (station on the map). Trains go here mainly from the North (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Inta, etc.) in the direction of Anapa and the Crimea. Trains from other regions to Crimea also stop here.   A taxi from the railway station will cost from 1700 rubles in one direction, but you can get cheaper by bus. Directly opposite the railway station is a local bus station, from where from 05:00 to 18:00 approximately every hour buses depart to Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the cost of 220 rubles, 2 hours on the way. By bus to Primorsko-Akhtarsk

By bus to Primorsko-Akhtarsk can only be reached from the cities of the Krasnodar Territory and from Rostov-on-Don, long-distance bus services do not go here. The route from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-On-Don passes along the toll Federal Highway M4-don. The fare for paid sections will be from 1720 rubles or a little less if you pay for travel with a contactless transponder. You can go on free roads, but you will additionally spend several hours because of the passage through settlements. From other regions, you can still get on free roads through Volgograd or Rostov-on-Don, but there is a paid section in Rostov, which you can also go around or pay about 55 rubles for it.

Be careful in the last few dozen kilometers when approaching the city! There are some very sharp 90 degree turns in a few places, and to avoid flying off the road, strictly adhere to the speed limits on the signs.

Moving around the city by car is not difficult, there are no traffic jams. There are also no difficulties with parking, there is a lot of space. Even near the beach here you can safely park your car for free.

Transport in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, what to move

The city is not very large, and in most cases for walks and hikes to the beach you will not need transport, everything can be bypassed on foot. If you do not really like to walk, you can use a taxi (when ordering through the application, the trip starts from 60 USD) or rent a bicycle. We managed to find only one bicycle rental point on the beach opposite Kubanskaya Street, the cost is 200 rubles/hour and 700 rubles/day.

Also in the city there is a system of city buses and minibuses of only three routes. They are not very useful for tourists, because they rarely go. Travel costs 20 rubles.
