How to get to Kuchuguri

Overview of ways to get there

Kuchugury resort is located on the Taman Peninsula in the Krasnodar Territory (Kuchuguri on the map). From Krasnodar here 190 kilometers, from Moscow 1490. It is most convenient to get here by car, but you can do this way by plane, train or buses, but you will have to make transfers.

In general, Kuchuguri is not the most convenient resort for traveling to it by public transport, so if you do not have your own car, we recommend purchasing a ready-made tour for rest, which includes a transfer directly to the place of rest. By plane

There is no airport near Kuchuguri, here are the nearest:

• Anapa Vityazevo Airport-60 kilometers;
• Gelendzhik airport-140 kilometers;
• Krasnodar airport "Pashkovsky" - 200 kilometers;

The distance is indicated by the shortest path on the roads. You can also use the airports of Rostov-on-Don or Simferopol, but they are more than 300 kilometers away.

It is best to use the airport Anapa "Vityazevo", but there are not always cheap flights, and in most cases it is cheaper to fly from the regions to Krasnodar airport. But in practice, the price difference is not so big, and you will most likely spend this savings on getting from Krasnodar airport to Kuchugur, plus a lot of time. From the airports it is most convenient to get by taxi or use a tourist transfer, since there are no direct buses, and you will have to make several transfers. The cheapest taxi ride is from Anapa airport.

It is better not to order a taxi on the spot, it is cheaper to do it through the Yandex.Taxi app or order a ready-made tourist transfer in advance. In the latter case, the driver will be waiting for you on arrival at the airport with a sign with your name, and will comfortably take you to the desired hotel or apartment in Kuchuguri. If a taxi or tourist transfer is expensive for you, you can take buses with transfers through Temryuk, but note that the bus from Temryuk to Kuchugury runs very rarely, and it is possible that you will still have to take a taxi part of the way. Here are the instructions for each of the airports:

• From Anapa Vityazevo airport

  Take the city bus No. 113 (former No. 3) to Anapa bus station (runs once an hour from 08:30 to 19:30, 30 rubles, 45 minutes on the way). From Anapa bus station to Temryuk several times a day according to the schedule there are direct and passing buses (goes to 06:35, 14:20, 14:55, 17:59, from 120 rubles, an hour and a half on the road, check the schedule here). Upon arrival in Temryuk, you need to take bus number 107 or number 107A (departs twice a day at 11:30 and 17:30, and back at 07:30 and 13:00, travel 80 rubles, 60 Minutes on the way.).

• From Gelendzhik airport

  By city buses with transfers or by taxi you need to get to the new bus station (the upper bus station, there are no direct buses to it from the airport). From the bus station once a day there is a bus to Temryuk (departure at 12:20, Travel 360 rubles, 4 hours on the way, check the schedule here). From Temryuk we also get by bus number 107 or 107A.

• From Krasnodar airport

  From the airport, First Take the city bus number 7 or taxi to the Krasnodar 2 bus station, which will take at least an hour in time. From the bus station, according to the schedule, buses depart to Temryuk (departure to 06:00, 08:35, 11:50, 14:33 and 15:20, travel 500 rubles, 3-4 hours on the road, check the schedule here. By train

The nearest railway station is in Temryuk, but so far it serves only freight trains. Therefore, you need to go by train to Anapa or Krasnodar, where in the season there are trains from Moscow, St. Petersburg and many regions. You can also go to Slavyansk-on-Kuban or Krymsk, but there are trains only from Moscow and St. Petersburg, and getting from them to Kuchugury is more difficult.

• Via Anapa

  Trains run to Anapa from Moscow via Krasnodar, Rostov, Voronezh, Kursk, Orel, Tula. There is also a train from Krasnoyarsk via Samara, Ufa, Omsk and many more cities along the way.

  Upon arrival in Anapa from the railway station, you need to get to the Anapa bus station by city buses or minibuses No. 102, 107, 120, 127 for 30 rubles and 30 minutes. • Via Krasnodar

  It is more convenient to get through Krasnodar, since there are a lot of trains from the capital and regions, you can get there almost from anywhere. But it will take longer to get from Krasnodar to Kuchugur.

  Trains arrive at Krasnodar-1 station, from where you need to take a city bus, tram number 15 or electric trains to the Krasnodar-2 bus station, which will take about 30 minutes. From the station Krasnodar-2 several times a day, according to the schedule, buses depart to Temryuk (departure to 06:00, 08:35, 11:50, 14:33 and 15:20, travel 500 rubles, 3-4 hours on the road, check the schedule here). By bus

Only a suburban bus from Temryuk goes to Kuchuguri, and long-distance buses do not go here at all. Therefore, in any case, you will have to get with a transfer through Temryuk. In turn, there are very few direct long-distance buses from the regions to Temryuk, and you will most likely have to take a bus to Krasnodar, and change there at the Krasnodar-2 bus station. Therefore, we recommend getting to Kuchuguri by bus only if there is a direct flight from your city to Temryuk.

• To Temryuk by bus

  Buses to Temryuk go mainly from the cities of the Krasnodar Territory and neighboring regions, and long-distance destinations are launched only seasonally from Moscow and some regions. You can view the current schedule here or here, but these schedules may not have branded long-haul flights, so keep an eye out for them on schedules from your region /city.

  From Moscow to Temryuk in the summer season there is a direct night bus, but not every day, but on schedule. The cost is from 1100 rubles, almost a day on the road. Schedule and booking here, and here.

  In Temryuk, buses arrive at the bus station at Uritsky STR., 52 (bus station on the map).

• From Temryuk to Kuchugur

  From Temryuk to Kuchuguri there is a bus number 107 and number 107A . Depart from Temryuk bus station to Uritsky STR., 52 (bus station on the map) twice a day at 11:30 and 17:30, and back at 07:30 and 13:00, the fare is 80 rubles, the journey is 60 Minutes. In Kuchuguri, these buses arrive and depart from the stop on Lenin Street near the intersection with Krasnaya Street (stop on map). This is actually the center of the resort, and most hotels can be reached on foot from here.

By car

Ideally, we recommend you to relax in Kuchuguri in your car. This is the most convenient way to get here and move around the Taman peninsula while relaxing for sightseeing and other beaches. Here are the distances to Kuchugury from major cities for reference:

The road from Moscow and St. Petersburg passes along the M4 highway with paid sections, but if you really want to save money, you can go around them, which will take an additional few hours on the way, saving about 900 rubles. From the regions east of Moscow (Samara, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, etc.) you can go through Volgograd, and then through Rostov, Salsk or Elista. Through Elista you get a small detour, but there you can make a short stop to get acquainted with the sights of Kalmykia.

In Kuchuguri, there are no difficulties with moving and parking a car, there is plenty of space. Most of the streets of the village are covered with tolerable asphalt, some alleys and driveways to the beaches are unpaved. There are few signs prohibiting stopping and parking here, many accommodation facilities offer their own parking area or parking for the night under video cameras.
