What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
House-Museum of V. I. Lenin has existed since 1937. It is located in the House of the Orlov noble family, so even the building itself is of historical value. True, in order to accommodate the exhibits of the Lenin Museum, the building had to be slightly completed. Thanks to this, the museum exposition was updated and replenished.
The museum is organized with the participation of family members of V. I. Lenin, his close relatives and friends. The museum is also interested in the fact that the Ulyanov family lived in the house from September 1888 to May 1889. The museum exposition is located on 2 floors. On the first floor there are objects, books, credits, notes, photographs of family members and Lenin himself, their biography and achievements. On the first and second floors, the furniture of the rooms of the Ulyanov parents and children, their nanny, living room and kitchen were recreated. Additional information can be found on the interactive scoreboards.
Around the building there is a small park where you can walk in the warm season.
The museum is worth a visit, if not in the first acquaintance with Kazan, then in the subsequent visit definitely.
