RussiaBuses do not run directly to Arkhyz and the resort village of Romantik from most regions of Russia. You can get here by public transport only with a transfer through the cities of Stavropol, Nevinnomyssk, Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Mineralnye Vody, Cherkessk, Teberda, and the village of Zelenchukskaya. All scheduled buses arrive at the bus station in the center of Arkhyz (Lenin St., 2, see on the map) and then continue to the final stop in the resort Romantik settlement.

Please note: all buses to Arkhyz go to the Romantik settlement. If your accommodation is in the center of Arkhyz, just tell the driver — they will drop you off at the bus station on Lenin Street.
How to Get from Mineralnye Vody Airport to Arkhyz by Bus
Mineralnye Vody Airport (MRV) is 210 km from Arkhyz. You can get from there by bus in two ways: a direct flight or with a transfer at the bus station.
Direct Bus from the Airport
The most convenient option is the direct bus, which departs directly from the airport terminal. Flights run twice a day:
- Departure: 08:35 and 12:35
- Cost: from 1000 rubles
It's better to buy tickets for this route in advance — seats may be unavailable, especially during the high season.
With a Transfer at Mineralnye Vody Bus Station
If the departure time of the direct bus doesn't work for you, you can get to the Mineralnye Vody bus station and from there take one of the three daily flights to Arkhyz.
How to get to the bus station:
- By taxi: about 200–300 rubles, travel time 15–20 minutes.
- By minibus #11: about 50 rubles, runs every 20–30 minutes. The minibus stop is located at the airport exit. The minibus does not go directly to the station; you'll have to walk for 10 minutes.
Departure of buses from Mineralnye Vody Bus Station to Arkhyz: 07:00, 08:10, 12:25. Cost — from 1000 rubles.
From Mineralnye Vody Railway Station to the bus station, the most convenient way is by taxi (about 150 rubles, 10–15 minutes travel).
From Nevinnomyssk Railway Station the bus station is nearby; exit the city and you're there. From here, buses to Arkhyz depart at 13:00 and 14:30.
