RussiaThe complex of ancient monuments of architecture and history of Derbent is under the protection of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Dagestan "Derbent State Historical, Architectural and Archaeological Museum-Reserve". Its facilities include the following museums:
- Naryn-Kala Citadel
- Museum "Culture and life of ancient Derbent"
- Museum of Carpet and Decorative and Applied Arts
- Museum "Nature of the Caspian Sea"
- Memorial House-Museum of A.A. Bestuzhev-Marlinsky
- Museum of "Military Glory"
It is possible to visit both individual museum expositions with a ticket purchased at the ticket offices of these museums, and with a single ticket for all expositions.
- The cost of a single ticket (without excursion service) for all 6 facilities for adults is 600 rubles, for children from 7 to 16 years – 300 rubles, for children under 7 years – free.
- The cost of a separate ticket (without excursion) to the Citadel of Naryn-Kala: adults – 200 rubles, children from 7 to 16 years – 100 rubles, other museums: adults – 150 rubles, children from 7 to 16 years – 100 rubles.
- Excursions are paid in addition to each entrance ticket: in Naryn-Kala – 600 rubles, other museums – 150 rubles per person.
For some categories of citizens to visit the entire complex, there are benefits for free admission (disabled people of groups I-II, disabled children, orphans, military personnel, heroes of the Russian Federation, WWII veterans, children under 7 years old, etc.).
The Pushkin card is valid for payment. For children under 18 years of age – free admission on the first and last Sunday of the month, for students – the first Thursday of the month, for large families – the last Friday of the month.
For all categories, free admission is on May 18 (International Museum Day), June 1 (International Children's Day), September 15 (Day of Unity of the Peoples of Dagestan).
