What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting

Gentle Cave - one of the two most popular caves in Adygea, equipped for visiting tourists. It is much smaller in size and popularity The great Azish cave but, nevertheless, worthy of a visit. It is not necessary to visit both caves, in fact, you can do one of them. Which one to visit is up to you, but this one differs from Azish in that here you inspect it and walk directly on the stone floor, and not on equipped bridges.

The "inhabited" part of Nezhnaya has a length of about 25 meters and a maximum depth of 7 meters. Further passage is prohibited, although the corridor stretches for 95 meters, until it finally narrows into a narrow manhole, where cavers have not yet made their way. But it is believed that it stretches further for many kilometers, and perhaps even connects with Azishskaya. In the equipped part there is lighting, and in one of the four halls visitors are shown unique acoustic properties with the help of music. It is visited only when accompanied by a tour guide (accompaniment is included in the ticket price), which is very interesting and informative about the origin of the cave and its features. The tour lasts 20-25 minutes.

The temperature inside all year round is around +6℃, which is quite cool for the summer, so it is recommended to dress warmer, at least throw a jacket. If you do not have warm clothes with you, when buying a ticket you will be offered free warm jackets. But in fact, it is not necessary to wrap yourself up very much, because for such a short excursion you will not have time to freeze very much.
