Cable car in Dakhovskaya (Savranskaya cable car) is a relatively new entertainment, it (opened in 2015. This is the only chairlift in Adygea. Its length is 1250 meters, and the height difference is 450 meters. It will take you to an altitude of 860 meters above sea level in 15 minutes.
But it is interesting not only and not so much the lift itself on the cable car, but the place where it leads. And it leads to the top of the Una-Koza ridge to the Giant Mountain, which can be safely included in the list of the most interesting sights of Adygea, and definitely this is the most visited place from Dakhovskaya. On the ridge are the famous Devil's Finger rock, several equipped and unequipped caves and grottoes, unusual rocky formations, observation decks with views of the mountains of the Caucasian Reserve and the Lago Naki plateau. And all this is combined by hiking trails.
In general, if you are not afraid of the difficulties of walking along hiking trails of medium complexity, then climbing up on a cable car, you can visit the grotto of "Desires", the cave "Dusty", the cave "Dakhovskaya", several interesting grottoes, the rock formation of the Devil's Finger and much more during the whole day. If hiking is not your thing, then the upper station of the cable car has several tourist activities that are available to everyone. There is horseback riding, jeeps and ATVs (you can get to the Devil's Finger and several viewing points); there is a mini zoo and a cafe; there is tubing with a lift.
So the cable car will also be interesting for hiking enthusiasts to climb low-tourist places, as well as for those who just want to have fun and see beautiful views. So we definitely recommend the Dakhovskaya cable car as one of the must-visit places in Adygea.

🚶 How to get there
The cable car is located in the village of Dakhovskaya on its outskirts, two kilometers from the center (cable car on the map). You can get to the cable car station from the center on foot, and from other places in Adygea you can get by car or commuter bus to Guzeripl, but it goes very rarely. For private transport there is free Parking (there is a lot of space) and a fee for 250 rubles.
