According to the creators of the museum – this is the largest toy museum in the world. The mastermind and owner of the museum, Mr. Loh Lean Cheng, began collecting his collection in 1973, and since then has collected more than 100,000 toys, dolls and other children's fun, many of which are very rare. Also, this museum is listed in the Book of records of Malaysia, as the first and largest toy museum in the country. There is also a huge collection of wax figures, of course movies and cartoon characters.

The Toy Museum is located far from George Town and the tourist center of Penang, it will have to go by taxi or city bus for almost an hour. The price is somewhat too high, and besides, on the advertising booklets of the museum, which you will be offered at the reception of hotels or on the street, the price is indicated for Malaysian citizens, and for foreigners it is twice as high, which may not be the most pleasant surprise upon arrival at the museum. Despite all the loud statements of the owner about the uniqueness and size of the collection, you will spend 30 minutes visiting. Perhaps the only plus of the museum is that you can be photographed here for free and as much as you like, including in an embrace with exhibits.
