Komtar Tower is the tallest building in Penang (65 floors), which houses offices, including the state administration. On the ground floor inside the tower is the bus station of the same name, which is one of the most convenient starting points for city buses to the attractions of the island. The area around the tower is considered a new tourist area. The tower is visible from almost anywhere in the city. On the top floor of the skyscraper is an observation deck with a 360-degree view. The site offers a breathtaking view of the city, especially if you visit it during sunset and capture both daylight and darkness. Also in the tower are museums of music, comedy, and science.

The observation deck is open to the public from 10:00 to 18:00.
💵Entrance fee / ticket price
Entrance to the tower is free, viewing platform adult – 98 ringgit;children height 90-130 CM – 58 ringgit. Tickets can be purchased online on the official website.
🚶 How to get there
The tower is in the center of Georgetown (Komtar tower on the map). You can get there on the free MPPP CAT tourist bus to stop No. 9 (Komtar Pusat) or No. 10 (Komtar Utara).
