Penang Botanic Gardens is also known as Waterfall Gardens because of the waterfall located here. In fact, this is a large park that is popular with locals who like to walk through the gardens, do morning exercises and jogging here, and are often visited by tourists. It is nice to spend a few hours of your time here, just walking and getting acquainted with the exotic nature of the island. 🚶 How to get there
The botanical gardens are located on the outskirts of Georgetown far from the tourist area Old Town of Penang (Botanical Gardens on the map). You can get from Weld Quay or Komtar by bus number 10, but this route is extremely rare (about once an hour, or even less often), so if you do not want to lose a lot of time, it is better to use a taxi.
