Temurun Waterfall is considered the most scenic waterfall on Langkawi. It is popular not only with tourists but also with locals due to its natural setting and surrounding forest. The waterfall consists of several cascades with a total height of about 30 meters (roughly the height of a nine-story building). At the base, there is a pool where you can swim — the water here is cool and refreshing.
However, keep in mind that during the dry season, especially with a prolonged absence of rain, the waterfall can shrink significantly and turn into a thin trickle. It's best to plan your visit after a rain or during the rainy season to see it in its full glory. Also, be careful with the monkeys — they are frequent visitors here and might try to snatch your food or belongings if you leave them unattended. The trail to the waterfall is simple and takes about 5–10 minutes from the parking lot.

🚶 How to Get There
The waterfall is located in the northwest of the island, quite far from the main beaches (Pantai Cenang and Tengah). The most convenient way is by rented transport or taxi (Temurun Waterfall on the map). There is free parking nearby, from which a simple trail leads to the waterfall (about 200 meters, 5–10 minutes walk).
