Overview & Is It Worth Visiting?
MAHA Tower is a new 138-meter tower with two observation decks (Sky Deck on the 33rd floor and Sky Lounge on the 18th). It looks pretty impressive from the outside and definitely adds something to the Kuah town coastline. But is it worth going up? That's the big question. Tickets for foreigners are almost three times more expensive than for locals, and once you're up there, it's basically just a walk across a glass floor and some pretty standard views of the town and the sea. In our opinion, making a special trip just for the observation deck only makes sense if you've already done the cable car, have tons of time, and money to burn.
It's way more enjoyable to just come by in the evening (the tower is beautifully lit up), take a stroll along the waterfront, and check out the small park with some simple rides for little kids. The island's only water park is also nearby, so you could easily make a day of it if you're with children.

🚶 How to Get There
The tower is located in the center of Kuah town, right by Eagle Square (MAHA Tower on the map). The easiest way is by rental car or taxi; a trip from Pantai Chenang via Grab will set you back around 20 ringgit (4.93 USD). There's parking nearby, and the tower itself is visible from pretty much any point along the waterfront — it's a great landmark.
