Doll Museum (Wayang Museum) is not a museum of children's toys at all, rather the opposite. He talks about the Wayang Shadow puppet Theater, which occupies a very important place in the culture and religion of Indonesia, and is even included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as an intangible object. Although the museum is not very large, the exposition is very interesting. There are flat dolls for use in the shadow theater and musical instruments used during performances; full-length dolls, literally terrifying; collections from different countries, including Russia. A traditional performance is held daily at 10:00. Of course, it is worth visiting on time for a walk through the historic district of Jakarta.

Located in the heart of the historic district at Jl. Pintu Besar Utara No.27 (Wayang Doll Museum on the map). You can get there by Transjakarta Busway buses to the Pakin stop along corridor 12, or by city trains to the final station of Jakarta.
