Padang Padang or Labuan Beach Site and is it worth going here
Padang Padang Beach (Padang Padang Beach), aka Labuan Site Beach (Labuan Sait Beach) is a tiny sandy beach in the south of the island on the western shore of the Buktit Peninsula, sandwiched in beautiful rocks (Padang Padang or Labuan Beach Site on the map). However, this is not a deserted wild beach at all, as you might think, but just the opposite – a relatively developed and equipped place to relax in these parts. Therefore, there are always enough vacationers here, and this is despite the remoteness from tourist areas and a paid entrance.
Padang Padang is suitable for a beach holiday on the shore, and a day of swimming, and for surfing. It is not very big, one might even say tiny compared to its neighbors along the coast, the length hardly reaches 100 meters. But at the same time very cozy, because it is located in a rocky bay. There are beautiful rocks with grottoes on the outskirts, great selfies are obtained there.
There is a cafe on the shore (simple, but not cheap). There are umbrellas that can be used for 100,000 rupees (5.54 USD). But there are no deck chairs, so you need to take your own mattress or towel here. There is also a shower and a toilet. And all this for 15,000 rupees entrance fee (0.83 USD) + 2,000 for parking (0.11 USD).
To get to the beach, from the top of the parking lot you need to go down a stone staircase through a stone gap and thickets inhabited by monkeys. Be careful with them: they can take food and steal things. Therefore, it is better to hide food and valuables before going to the beach. Already on the beach itself, they do not cause any inconvenience and stay away, but still it is better not to leave things unattended.
Cons of Padang Padang
But after the praises that we "sang" about this beach, we need to tell you about its real shortcomings. First of all, it is its remoteness and payment. But the worst thing is that under certain conditions and the direction of the wind, a lot of floating debris catches up with the bay with the beach. Sometimes they don't have time to clean up this garbage, and then there are negative reviews about the fact that this is a very dirty and unsuitable beach for swimming. But in fact it is temporary, more often it is clean and pleasant to relax.
In good weather, a lot of vacationers from neighboring hotels arrive here in the middle of the day, there is even a shortage of space on the shore, so you need to come in the morning (to take a seat), or in the evening when everyone is leaving.
And yet, sunsets are not visible from here, since the sun is hidden behind a rock.
How to get to Padang Padang or Labuan Site (Padang Padang Beach)
Padang Padang Beach or Labuan Site is located on the western shore of Bukit Peninsula (Balangan on the map). This is almost the most extreme south of the island of Bali, and it is quite far to go here from the major resort areas and the airport, since the roads lead to a detour and loop a lot.

For rented vehicles at the descent to the shore there is a paid parking of 2000 rupees. From there, take the stairs down a few minutes through the stone gorge. Be careful, there are monkeys here.
