Gunung Payung Beach (Gunung Payung) is located on the eastern shore of the Bukit Peninsula, it is south of Bali and relatively close to all developed tourist areas (Gunung Payung Beach on the map). But at the same time it is one of the most secluded and little-known beaches. At least, mass tourists-vacationers don't really come here, and usually there are only rare independent travelers and seekers of secluded beautiful beaches. Entrance here is paid – 20,000 rupees (1.11 USD) + 2,000 for parking.
Gunung Payung is small, at most 100 meters long. The water here is clean, the entrance to the water is moderate, but at low tide it becomes shallow. It is perfectly protected from waves by a reef, so even in bad weather and in low season you can safely go into the water here. At the same time, it can be called one of the most picturesque and cozy. There is a beautiful mole on the left bank, where beautiful photos are taken. If you go to the right at low tide, you can get to the neighboring Timbis beach.
When we were here a few years ago, there was not a soul on the beach at all and not even a hint of infrastructure, but now umbrellas have already appeared, sometimes obsessive fast food and souvenir vendors drop in, and even a staircase for easy access has appeared (before it was just a path). Nevertheless, even today it remains a sparsely populated and magnificent place for a day trip on vacation.

How to get to Gunung Payung Beach
Gunung Payung Beach is located in the south of Bali on the eastern shore of the Bukit Peninsula (Gunung Payung on the map). It is 15-20 kilometers from the airport and the center of Kuta. You can get from 120,000 rupees by taxi through the application (6.64 USD) and from 50,000 for a motorcycle taxi.
You can use your own (rented) transport to get here by a toll or free road. The paid version is faster, but the problem is that you need to buy a special electronic card for payment. If this is a one-time trip along the "headscarf" for you, then there is no point in buying it, you can drive along the free route, it is the same in length, just more traffic jams. You have to pay 2,000 rupees for parking.
Going down from the parking lot to the beach is short and easy, no more than 5 minutes.
