Yaroshenko Nikolai Alexandrovich-famous painter and portrait painter of the XIX century. He spent the last years of his life in this house, and in it he died of a heart attack, which he received after he ran home more than 10 km from Bolshoe sedlo mountain, where he wrote from nature. He was an honorary resident of the city of Kislovodsk.
The museum in his estate was opened more than half a century after his death. The basis of the museum is an exhibition of paintings by Yaroshenko and Kasatkin, as well as temporary exhibitions of local artists. The exposition includes sculptural works of the XIX-XX centuries, personal belongings and furniture belonging to the artist and his family. In total, the museum has three sections: works by N. A. Yaroshenko in the main house "white villa"; works by artists-peredvizhniki in the guest wing No. 1; paintings of the XIX-XX centuries.in the guest wing No. 2. There is also an interesting tour of the territory.
In general, we can say that the museum is worth a visit and will be interesting to a wide range of tourists, not just art lovers and admirers of Yaroshenko's work.

A visit to the estate costs 30 rubles, and each of the exhibitions is visited for a fee:
- The main exhibition in the "White Villa" – 150 rubles;
- Artists-peredvizhniki in the guest wing No. 1-150 rubles;
- Paintings of the XIX-XX centuries in the guest wing No. 2 – 150 rubles.
At 15:00 There is a group tour worth 250 rubles. Photography – 100 rubles, video – 500. Rent an audio guide-100 rubles. Pensioners and students get discounts, children under 18 years old-free of charge.
