Lermontov waterfall - this is the only waterfall in the city of Kislovodsk. It is small, about three meters high, but very wide and full of water all year round. Earlier it was called Olkhovsky by the name of the Olkhovka River, on which it is located. But later it was renamed in honor of the great poet and prose writer M. Yu.Lermontov, since it is believed that it was here that Pechorin from the novel "hero of our time" watered his horse on the way from Mount Koltso.
At the foot of the waterfall is a large grassy lawn on the banks of the river, where you can have picnics.
