What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting

Museum of good or "gallery of good" it does not tell about good deeds and kindness. The gallery's collection contains old objects and things of Russian life, which are generally called "good". It would be possible to call this museum a museum of antiques or "Junk", and in principle it looks like this for visitors.

The collection contains a large number of household items of Russia of the late nineteenth–early twentieth century.: as stated, more than 1000 exhibits. Here you can see castles, dishes, samovars, stuffed animals, antique furniture, money and many other things that could be found in Russian houses of that time. The museum is located in the mansion of 1906, which belonged to the famous grain merchant Timofey Plekhanov. The building itself is very remarkable and is a landmark. Interestingly, some of the exhibits were found in the hiding place of this house during its reconstruction in 2010.
