the museum is located in the village of Peshelan/Bebyaevo, 120 kilometers from Nizhny Novgorod and only 10 kilometers from the city of Arzamas (Museum on the maptherefore, if you are planning a trip here on your own transport, it is best to combine a visit to Arzamas and the museum. Directly from Nizhny Novgorod to the village of Peshelan can be reached by the only public transport-bus number 675 Nizhny Novgorod-Lukoyanovo from the bus station "Shcherbinki" (Gagarin Ave., 234A, check the schedule and cost by Phone +7 (831) 469-01-74). You can also transfer to Arzamas. To do this, you need to get from Nizhny Novgorod to Arzamas by bus, and there at the bus station in the Center change to a suburban bus to the village of Bebyaevo (schedule at the station or by Phone 8(83147)9-00-59) or take a taxi. You can also get to Arzamas by train, but in this case you still have to get to the bus station in the city center by bus or taxi. Whatever public transport you choose, in Peshelani you will have to walk at least two kilometers to the museum. You can drive your own car directly to the entrance to the museum.
