The majestic Panea Rock is located on the shore in Simeiz opposite Diva Rocks. There is an observation deck on the mountain, which offers wonderful views of the surrounding area. But it is worth coming here not only for the beautiful views, but also to see the remains of the ancient Paneeti fortress of the late XIV-early XV century. Basically, only stones and a foundation that is difficult for non-specialists to distinguish remained from it, but in some places fragments of the fortress walls still remain. It is believed that there was not only a fortress here, but also a church.
There are paths along the rock, and in some places a stone staircase has been preserved, along which you can climb to the very top. At the very top, on one of the stones, the inscription "Glory to Stalin!" is flaunted by no one knows by whom and for what reason, left in red paint. In addition, you can go to Diva Rock from Panea via a hinged bridge, but this is already a paid attraction for 500 rubles.

🚶 How to get there
Panea Rock is located at the western (right) the sides of Simeiz beach, opposite Diva Rock (Panea on the map). There are many trails leading to it, including a stone letsnitsa from the Diva Rock. But it is better to climb to the top for the first time along a more gentle and distinguishable path from Cypress Alley through the park, as it will not be easy to do from the beach and Diva because of the high steepness of the slope and not a very clear path.
