In the Soviet years, near Shchelkino, they tried to build a Crimean nuclear power plant, but they did not have time to do this. After the collapse of the USSR, everything that was built was stolen, and an excellent man-made attraction remained from the nuclear power plant, where for many years lovers of extreme sports and similar attractions were illegally taken on excursions. After 2014, it was decided to use the materials of the station for the construction of the Crimean Bridge, so now it is gradually being dismantled. Whether the main building of the nuclear power plant, where all the most interesting things are located, will be preserved, we do not know, but so far dismantling works are being carried out everywhere on the territory, it is impossible to get there. Rather, it is impossible to get there officially, but if you agree with the guards, you can.
