Pesochnoye (mean Sande) - a small village in the northern part of the Kerch Peninsula of Crimea in the Leninsky district on the coast of the Sea of Azov (on the map. Permanent population-less than 200 people. It is located in the central part of the Kazantip Bay, which is part of the Sea of Azov. Nearest major settlements of Crimea: Kerch (55 km), Shchelkino (24 km). From Simferopol and the airport to Pesochny almost 200 kilometers.
Sand City Infrastructure underdeveloped-typical for small villages. There is not even a normal road here and regular transport does not go. There is a tiny village shop with food and basic necessities, and in the neighboring village there is a market. There is nothing else from the infrastructure. Nevertheless, there are several recreation centers and boarding houses, and a separate category of tourists purposefully goes here. And they strive for two reasons: remoteness from civilization and deserted long sandy beaches.
The village itself consists of one street, and is not near the beach, but a kilometer from it. The road to the shore passes through a coniferous forest, which is rare for this steppe part of the Crimea. But, unfortunately, in recent years, the path to the beach has turned into a kind of dump thanks to tourists who do not clean up their garbage. The situation is similar on the beach: tourists from the village and "tent people" do not clean their garbage, and it remains on the sand until it is taken away by water.
Beaches in the area of Pesochnoe – this is one of the main reasons why people go to this part of the Crimea. The sandy beach here continuously stretches for 30 kilometers! True, in fairness it should be noted that the beaches here are not quite Pesochnoe, but mixed with a broken shell, and there are more shells than the sand itself. The water warms up for swimming at the end of May, unlike the south coast, where it is cold even at the end of June. Conditions for bathing small children are not bad, the depth is small for tens of meters from the shore. But there is also a peculiarity: first, at the very shore, the bottom abruptly goes under water, and then rises again. Be prepared for waves, as the winds blow here often. The water is muddy due to the suspension of sand and clay. There are no beach activities, as well as amenities. The only exception is the equipped beach of the boarding house "Azovsky" three kilometers from Pesochny, but the facilities there are available only for the clients of the boarding house.
Options for placement here are minimal only a couple of recreation centers, and even then not working every season because of the small number of tourists. Service in them is minimal, only basic accommodation in small simple rooms and meals. Local residents also offer their homes for accommodation, prices from 200 rubles per person per day.
Also, it is impossible not to mention another place where you can stay, a kind of "reservation" for tourists – the boarding house "Azov". It is located three kilometers from the village and near the beach. This is a self-sufficient territory for recreation, something like foreign hotels with their own territory and "all inclusive". There is a children's mini-water park, animators work, in the evenings they show cartoons for children. In general, this is a good place to relax, but there is nothing for many kilometers beyond the territory.

Attractions and any entertainment on the territory of the village there is no. The only entertainment is a mini-water park with children's slides and pools on the territory of the Azov boarding house (not in the village itself, but three kilometers from it). It can be visited not only by clients of the boarding house, but also by vacationers from the outside, but only for a fee. On the outskirts of the village there is a source of therapeutic mud, and in the vicinity of several salt lakes, salt water (brine) and mud which the locals also consider useful. How to get to Pesochnoye
Pesochnoye is located far from transport infrastructure and large cities, and the village does not even have a normal paved road. Regular transport also does not go. Therefore, it is best to get here by private transport or taxi.
If you go by private transport, then after overcoming the bridge you will have to drive 70 kilometers. Most of the way will be on a good new road, but the last 13 kilometers – old asphalt and even a primer. But you can even drive a car in bad weather, you just need to be careful on potholes.

There are also Budget ways to get here. You can directly from the airport or with a transfer in Simferopol take a bus to Kerch, and ask the driver to drop you off at the turn to the village of Pesochnoye. From this place to the village 13 kilometers, and they can be overcome by hitchhiking. Just keep in mind that cars are not often found here, you can wait a few hours.
Another way is from Kerch or Feodosia to take the train to the railway station "Ostanino" or "55 kilometer" and from them 6 and 5 kilometers, respectively, on foot or by hitchhiking.
