Viewing Halabuda in Chernomorskoye

Viewing Halabuda is, in our opinion, the most picturesque place in the village of Chernomorsky. It is also sometimes called Cape Halabuda, but as such there is no cape here.

To be honest, we have no idea where this examination room got such a strange name. In general, if you suddenly didn't know, then "halabuda" means a hut, a ruin, a booth, and the like. We don't know how this is connected with this coast, but if you suddenly know, then share it in the comments.

But whatever the name of this place, if you want to be on holiday in Chernomorskoe as if on the Mediterranean Sea, as on the rocky shores of Cyprus or Greece, then you are here. This coast is also very reminiscent of the picturesque Cape Tarkhankut, so if you don't have the opportunity to go there, then it will be an excellent alternative to take beautiful photos and swim in crystal clear water. But you need to swim with caution: the descent to the water is dangerous, and the rocks are very sharp. By the way, there used to be a staircase here, apparently, back in Soviet times. But now there are only traces of it, so you'll have to go down the rocks. Well, be careful in the water too: the rocks are very sharp, you can get hurt during the waves. You can also jump into the water from a height, but, again, be very careful.

🚶 How to get there

The observation deck in Chernomorskoye is not a specific point with views, but a whole rocky coast with a length of at least a kilometer, so you don't just need to get here, you also need to walk along the coast. It is located on the outskirts of the village, four kilometers from the central beach (Halabuda on the map). You can get here by taxi. Or take the city bus No. 3 or 3A and get to the final "Western Street", and from there walk along N. Zherdeva Street to the stop and then left along the shore, or take a short way right through the field and a residential area of private development.

You can walk from the center and completely on foot, we walked like that. On the way you can look at the beach Rebzik (Rybzik), take a look at the "island of the unborn seagull". And if you walk at the beginning of the season in June, then on the way through the private sector you will pass by trees with very tasty wild mulberries.
