Kudepsta is located in the south of Sochi, 20 kilometers from the city center and on the outskirts of Adler (Kudepsta on the map). Often Kudepsta is considered part and one of the neighborhoods of Adler, since there is really no clear border between the two resorts, and therefore the ways to get to them are very similar.

Just 15 kilometers from Kudepsta is the main airport of Sochi, where flights are operated from many cities of the Russian Federation and from abroad. If you prefer railway transport, then there will also be no difficulties with the trip, but you will need to go by train to Adler railway station. Unfortunately, there is no own railway station in Kudepsta, and therefore it will not be possible to get here from the railway station, airport or from other areas of Sochi by train. The last kilometers of the way directly to the place of rest at the resort you will have to do only by road – buses or taxis.

If you do not want to get involved with the difficulties of an independent trip, we advise you to consider the options for ready-made tours to Sochi and Kudepsta, which traditionally include flights, transfers to the place of rest, accommodation, and, of course, the way back. By plane to Kudepsta

You can get to Kudepsta by plane through the Sochi airport named after V. I. Sevastianov, or simply Adler airport, which is located 15 kilometers from the center of the resort (airport on the map). It operates flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg and a large number of regions of the Russian Federation. Most flights are operated during the high tourist season (summer), including international flights.

How to get from the airport to Kudepsta

The airport is only a 20-minute drive from the center of Kudepsta, but we want to remind you once again that the travel time can greatly increase during peak hours, which fall on weekdays in the morning and evening. Therefore, when traveling to the airport by the time of departure, we advise you to lay an additional half hour.

You can get from the airport to Kudepsta by taxi or city buses:

• Taxi

  • 🕐 travel time: 20-30 minutes.
  • 💵 cost: from 350 rubles.

  Taxis at a fixed price can be ordered at the official counter in the arrivals hall (from 500 USD) or through the applications of aggregators Yandex.Taxi, Uber, Gett and Citymobil (from 350 USD). When ordering a taxi through aggregators, it is likely that in high season the delivery of the car will have to wait an hour or more. You can quickly leave using the services of "bombed" in the arrivals hall, but they ask for twice as much as a trip on the counter.

  If you want to avoid problems with taxi delays, you can pre-order a ready-made tourist transfer by car or minivan with a meeting with the driver at the airport. The order is available at kiwitaxi or intui.travel.

• City buses

  • 🕐 travel time: 30-40 minutes (excluding waiting).
  • 💵 cost: from 28 rubles.

  The bus stop at the airport is located at the exit of the arrivals hall on the lower level. Payment of the fare at the entrance to the driver by card or cash. The cost starts from 28 rubles and depends on the distance, so you need to name the Place, Hotel or destination area. For a trip to Kudepsta, the following flights will suit you:

By train to Kudepsta

Unfortunately, Kudepsta does not have its own railway station or even a train stop. References in some guidebooks about the existence of a station here are outdated and unreliable information. Once there really was a railway platform for stopping trains, but it has been closed for a very long time.

Therefore, you will have to eat by train to Kudepsta through the railway station of Adler or Khosta. Theoretically, you can go to the center of Sochi, but the station in Adler and Khosta is closer to Kudepsta. Check the schedule and buy tickets better on the official website of Russian Railways or at the city's ticket offices. When buying through the site, it is better to first register in the Russian Railways bonus system in order to save points for the next trips.

How to get from the railway station Adler to the place of rest

Adler train station is only 8 kilometers from Kudepsta (Adler train station on the map), and drive from it in 10 minutes if there is no traffic:

  Near the station there are two bus stops: one on Prosveshchenie street (from the embankment), the other on Lenin Street. Both stops have an exit from the station building. You need to go to the stop on Lenin Street, because there are more passing routes. You need Routes #55, 105 (but not 105C), 115, 134, 117, 60.

By bus to Kudepsta

There is no intercity bus station in Kudepsta and all buses pass through the area on the highway without stopping. Therefore, you can get here by bus only with a transfer to a city bus or taxi in Adler or the center of Sochi. There is no full-fledged intercity bus station in Adler either, but there is only a stopping point "Lavrovaya" on Lenin Street, this is next to the railway station (stop on map). In Sochi, a large bus station is located in the very center next to the railway station.

However, we recommend using an intercity bus to Sochi or Adler only in extreme cases, when it is impossible to get there in another way. The fact is that long bus trips are very tiring, and especially the last two hundred kilometers on the section after Dzhubga along the coast are exhausting. You will have to go along serpentines and stand in traffic for a long time, and not everyone can withstand this trip, especially children and the elderly with a weakened vestibular apparatus.

By car to Kudepsta

Before planning a trip to Kudepsta on vacation by car, we advise you to read this article - Is it worth going to Sochi for a holiday by car. Personally, our opinion is that this should be done only for complex road trips with visits to several places, but just to relax in one place you will get more difficulties than amenities and comfort.

If you still decide to go by car, then from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of the Western (European) part of the Russian Federation it is faster and safer to get along the M4-don toll Federal Highway. You can bypass the paid sections of the M4 on free roads, but then you will spend an additional few hours, since you will have to go through settlements with traffic jams.

As for parking personal vehicles, fortunately the situation in Kudepsta is much easier than in Adler. Most of the area is a quiet village, cars are left on the roadsides and in the courtyards of houses. In some places there are prohibition signs, but you can always find free and free parking "spots". If you decide to park the car in the wrong place, you may well get a fine with photofixation or find it in the parking lot.

Kudepsta from Sochi

As we have already said, in Kudepsta there is no railway stop of electric trains, as in most other resorts of Greater Sochi, and therefore from the center and from other areas can only be reached by road. But if you need to get here from Dagomys, Loo, Lazarevsky and other areas north of the center, we advise you to first take the trains to the nearest stations "Izvestia" or "Adler", and from there get to Kudepsta by bus or taxi. So you will greatly reduce travel time due to traffic jams, besides from these areas there are no direct city buses, and you still have to make a transfer in the center.

City buses run through Kudepsta along Sukhumskoe Shosse Street.№№ 50, 105, 115, 136, and minibuses 48, 49, 134. they can be reached from the center of Sochi, Adler, Khosta, from the railway station and the airport. There are also buses that, although they pass through the area, do not stop here, so it is better to avoid them, these are numbers: 105C, 51, 88, 117. The fare depends on the distance and starts from 28 rubles. At the entrance, you need to tell the driver where you need to go, he will name the price, and you will have to pay with a contactless bank card or cash.
