Kaverzinsky waterfalls - this is a chain of several waterfalls on the Tambov gap River. The largest of them are Maly Kaverzinsky and Bolshoy Kaverzinsky, and they can be confidently called the most beautiful in the vicinity of Goryachy Klyuch, provided, of course, that you see them at full water. And full water happens here in spring or early years. The remaining waterfalls and water slides are located on the river between the big and small for about 800 meters. But to see all this beauty, be prepared for a day-long mini hike through the forest over rocks and rocks, and through fallen trees and wading through a stream.
Also during this walk you can visit the University cave, it is located next to Bolshoy Kaverzinsky.

🚶 How to get there
Kaverzinsky waterfalls are located in the forest near the village of Hrebtovo, almost 40 kilometers from Goryachy Klyuch (Kaverzinsky waterfalls on the map. You can get to the starting point of the entrance to the walking route by car or bus, and from there on foot through the forest along the trail 6 kilometers in one direction, which will take at least two hours at a good speed without stopping. Therefore, the whole campaign should be allocated a whole day, and start in the morning. There are no signs on the trail, but there are the usual tourist signs-on trees and tied flags on branches. In principle, it is difficult to get lost in this place, the trail is clearly distinguishable. But if you are not sure of your ability to navigate, we advise you to use the Navigator or download offline maps to your smartphone. Organic Maps or OSM, they mark most of the trails in the area.
To get to the starting point by car, you should go along the main highway "M4-Don" in the direction of Krasnodar or Goryachy Klyuch towards the village of Ridge, and before reaching the village turn left onto a dirt road. There is no sign here, but you need to focus on the bus stop and the monument to the mass grave of the soldiers of the Second World War, or on our mark on the Navigator (turn to Kaverzinsky waterfalls on the map). The car can be left after turning on the side of the road, or you can drive another 600 meters and put it on the site under the supervision of a private farm for 100 rubles, and then only on foot.
You can get to this place by bus, but city buses do not go here, but only passing intercity ones on the route from Krasnodar Towards Jubgi or vice versa.
