Waterfalls and gorge of the Dederkoi River - this is a picturesque tourist route, which along the gorge of the Dederkoy mountain river will lead you to several waterfalls and water slides. As far as we know, this route is not officially issued, so it is not equipped with signs and markers for visiting, but it is easily overcome even by tourists without experience. Also, local guides and guides offer tours here on ATVs, jeeps and horses. However, they most often bring (bring) only to the first waterfall on the tributary of the Tuishkho River, although the most interesting waterfall with a swimming pool is further away, and you can only walk to it.
For self-walking the route will take about half a day. If you decide to relax and swim in the pool of the last waterfall at the end of the route, it is better to allocate a full day. Be sure to take water with you, a snack, if desired, a bathing suit and a towel. Shoes should be strong, hiking, in extreme cases - sneakers. In beach slippers or shoes on the route in any case do not go.
Along the route you will meet many small "waterfalls" and water slides, and two relatively large ones: on the tributary of the Tuishkho River and at the end of the route. What is at the end of the route actually consists of several Rapids, at the foot of which there are small swimming pools. The water is cool, but you can swim, and in the heat it is even pleasant.
Warning! Remember that mountain rivers during the rains abruptly fill with water. If a heavy downpour starts during the hike and the flow of water increases, if possible, look for a high point on the shore.

🚶 How to get there
the starting point of the route along the Dederkoy River Gorge is located on the outskirts of the village at the end of Sovkhoznaya Street (the beginning of the march on the map. It can be reached on foot or by car, leaving it on the side of the road at your own risk. The places here are generally quiet, but still we would recommend leaving the car near the hotel, and walking here. Further, the entire path will pass along the riverbed and directly along it. There are many dirt roads and trails, but in general you just need to keep the direction along the river, and you can not go wrong. After about 2.5 kilometers or 1 hour of travel, you will reach the first large waterfall at the confluence of the Tuishkho river with the Dedercoy river, it is located a little to the side on the Tuishkho River. This place can be reached by quad bikes or horses, and usually here most organized tourists turn around.
But you need to continue further for about one and a half kilometers along the riverbed and on the stones, and then you will get to the last waterfall (waterfall on the map). You will have to go, moving over large boulders, in some places it is better to take off your shoes. Go back the same way.
